Most of us spend six months thinking through with friends, family or a partner where we want to go for our next holiday.
We talk about it, review it, plan it and eventually book what is going to be the best two weeks away we've ever had - once the pandemic is over!
By contrast, we don't spend even two weeks on any of the following:
1 Planning what our aims are for the rest of our lives.
2 How we are going to improve our career prospects.
3 What our plan B looks like if the career goes belly up.
4 Where we want our careers to take us.
Surely the 48 weeks we spend in our careers every year creating our livelihood should have at least as much attention and thought put into them as the other 4 weeks when we are not working.
