As I've said many times before, if you are serious about your career, you need to find a mentor or a coach.
If you haven't got one, get one and even if you have there's nothing wrong with having two.
We all get down occasionally, it's human nature, but if we have someone to whom we can talk confidentially about our challenges, someone with whom we can share our feelings, they will lift our spirits even in the direst of circumstances.
So if you are in the process of choosing a mentor or a coach make sure they are enthusiastic and have that sunny disposition which is so important.
