Want to change your environment?

The environment in which you work is created and shaped by the people who work in it.   The working environment in turn will have more influence over the person you become than almost anything else.

Ask yourself a question, "Why shouldn't I let my teenage child hang about with glue sniffers?"  The answer is, "Because within a couple of weeks I know what my child will be doing."

So if you don’t like your working environment, seriously think about change. You have three options for change:

1.    Change your environment by finding a new one and getting out of the one you are in.
2.    Change your environment by starting proactively to manage the one you are in.
3.    Change yourself by doing nothing and gradually become infected so that you fit in perfectly.

1, 2 or 3 - it’s your choice!
